0800 and 0808 numbers will be free to call from UK mobiles as well as landlines from July 1st
From the 1st July 2015, all 0800 and 0808 numbers will be FREE to call from UK mobiles as well as landlines. Figures show that 60% of calls made within the UK originate from mobile devices and if given the choice, 63% of the public would always call Freephone numbers first. From 6 April 2015, many employment intermediaries (Recruitment Agencies) are accountable for new quarterly reporting rules. Intermediaries (Recruitment Agencies) are required to return details of all workers they place with clients where Pay As You Earn (PAYE) is not operated on the workers’ payments.
