It makes me laugh so much every time I see umbrella companies suddenly send out panic announcements explaining how they are to now start adopting HMRC Benchmark Scale Rate allowances for expense claims... like they are trying to set their own benchmark to which they feel others should follow, when in reality, they have been allowing expense claims to merely win new business and now upset agencies and contractors as the net pay will clearly be impacted... if only they would have done it right in … [Read more...]
