Outsource payroll is where companies or agencies choose to save time & money by hiring an external company to process all or some aspects of the payroll function whilst staying compliant and up to date with current legislation.
For organisations, ePayMe can offer a wide range of solutions ranging from bureau services to fully managed and compliant payroll processing and submissions to HMRC.
For employees who choose to use the services of an outsource provide such as ePayMe, you can be safe in the knowledge that your payroll is in safe hands. It can be daunting if you are used to receiving your payments through PAYE directly from your employer, however if you have recently made a career change and are seeking contract opportunities, your payroll processing is likely to also alter to an outsource provider like ePayMe.
Providers may only offer solutions to you for specific agencies that they choose to operate through, ePayMe prefer to give our employees the flexibility to operate through their chosen agency and therefore have a vast database of clients across a number of industry sectors that we can provide services for. If they are not on our current client database, we will do our very best to partner with that company to provide you the employee with the service you require.
Whichever provider you choose; the company should be able to provide you with services to ensure that you are not worse off receiving your payments through them than you would be on PAYE. For example, ePayMe offer: –
- Public Liability Insurance
- Employers Liability Insurance
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- The auto enrolment option for pension schemes
- Provision for holiday pay, whether this be paid to you as an amount in your salary or retained and saved for you to release. This would be released occasions where you take annual leave and wish to receive salary.
- HMRC submissions for TAX, Employers NI and Employees NI
- Flexibility to operate through a number of agencies and have your payroll processed under one tax code rather than split between various providers.
- Where applicable, due to Government legislation, submission of expenses
- Processing of statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP.
- Customer Service & Support from the point of registration to post payroll queries Monday – Friday 09:00-17:30 and Saturdays 10:00-16:00
- Text and email communications to confirm payments are being processed.
- Fast & efficient processing of your payments.
The above services are all standard as employees through ePayMe, and a competitive fee is applicable depending on the agency that your assignment is sourced through. All providers will charge fees for their services, but do check that you are receiving the basics from them before you register!
You can rest safe in the knowledge that should you choose ePayMe as your payroll provider your payments will be processed accurately, in adherence with the latest legislations and compliance, efficiently and with as little distress as possible to you.
