We are pleased to announce that we have completed the tough compliance requirements for the 3rd year for our Professional Passport accreditation. In Addition, we also hold the Payroll Assurance Scheme from CIPP (Chartered Institute for Payroll Professionals – PAS), which we have had for many years.
What does this mean for you? It means that you are safe in the knowledge that ePayMe is:
- Dedicated to compliance and best practice in payroll
- Our payroll and associated processes have been CIPP measured and found to be fit for purpose at the time of assessment
- We have suitable processes in place for preparing and delivering legislative changes
- Any necessary areas for development and improvement are highlighted and have been actioned
- Better management of the payroll function
- Dedicated to life-long learning and development
- Have shown openness and mitigated the risk of compliance failures by opting to engage in PAS which is ultimately, a best practice tool and a voluntary assessment.
Part of the Professional Passport accreditation has involved some changes to the way your payslips will be displayed and it is following the initial issues we found ourselves in with regards to furlough and DPSB. This now means that PP have required us to amend our payslips to show NMW plus DPSB, to bring the payslip in line with your Contract.
Please see a link here, for an updated payslip explanation. Nothing has changed, other than the payment section, all other details remain the same.
There is an update to opted out holiday pay on the reconciliation statement, whereby it will show as the amount withheld and paid out, you have not been opted back into the scheme, it’s just showing being paid out each payment date to you.
These changes do not affect your rights or the way in which you are paid, nor will it mean any changes to payments in the future or furlough. Please note that a day rate is divided by 6 hours and you should refer to your assignment schedule or agency agreement to determine if your day rate is an accumulation of different hours.
This compliance of accreditation is required by the agencies that we work with and to ensure that we are acting appropriately and not operating any schemes that are non-compliant. You may have seen many news articles and our article regarding such schemes and the distress caused. Should your provider be promising take home pay of 80 or 90%, you should be concerned.
Should you have any queries, please see our FAQ’s page or refer to your Welcome Email, which has a vast amount of useful information and links.
