Happy New Year! 2014 has come to an end and as we look back on what we have achieved throughout the past year, we have seen many positive steps taken to continue to improve the products we offer and the services we provide. Over the year our ePayMe family has grown, gaining several new members of staff. From customer services and client managers to payroll clerks and compliancy managers, who are all on hand to assist you. We understand how valuable time is to both the contractors and agencies we work with and understand the importance of ensuring that our new website (which was launched mid 2014) worked on a range of platforms and allowing it to be accessed on the go. Last month alone we have seen that over 27% of visits to our website were through mobile phones and a further 12% through mobile tablets. That’s a staggering 39% of traffic to our web page coming via mobile devices. Through these figures we recognised the need to ensure that our online portal used by our contractors was also optimised for mobile devices. We have invested more than £100k on improvements to our systems and processes during 2014, making it easier for you, our customers, to do business with us. These initiatives included being able to electronically process timesheets, payslips, expenses and HMRC documentation and simplified identification processes for customers using electronic means, reducing paper, post and time. Our new website provides you with an easier and more intuitive way to find out everything you need to know about ePayMe with the option to download forms and tailored information packs. The Team ePayMe racing team had a brilliant season with two of Team ePayMe’s riders, Dan Linfoot and Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne qualifying for the showdown in the British Superbikes with ‘Shakey’ taking home the trophy and becoming 2014 BSB Champion. It was a great season also for Danny Buchan lifting the cup for Team ePayMe as he won the Superstock 1000 Championship and Luke Harris lifting the bronze in the Thunderbike UK. We are all excited at ePayMe to see what the 2015 racing season has in store for us. 2014 finished on a high as we achieved the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals, Payroll Quality Partnership (PQP) accreditation. This accreditation is awarded to organisations in a range of sectors who wish to achieve “best practice in the development of payroll people”, thus ensuring that ePayMe are maintaining this professional working business approach by enhancing and continually developing the payroll knowledge and skills within the business which allows us to offer the best service at all times to our contractors and agencies. As 2014 draws to a close, ePayMe are excited for 2015, as we continue with plans to improve the services we provide by introducing CIS payments which are due to go live at the end of January. With the business expanding over the last year, we are pleased to announce that a relocation is scheduled for the middle of this year offering a much larger office space to help us to continue to improve the services we provide – it is going to be an exciting year ahead for ePayMe. We would like to thank you all for your continued support throughout 2014 and we look forward to working with you in 2015! Best wishes from everyone at ePayMe!
