October has been an exciting month for the ePayMe team, with the launch of our new branding and the announcement of our partnership with Tommy Hill for the new 2016 BSB team – ePayMe Yamaha.
ePayMe’s new branding has been rolled out across all platforms and is the beginning of a new ePayMe.

OSBORNE’S PAYROLL PLANS SLAMMED BY UMBRELLA GROUPS
Umbrella and self-employed representatives have condemned government plans to move freelancers and contractors working through PSCs onto the payroll.
Recruiter reports:
“Organisations representing umbrella companies and the self-employed have condemned reported government plans that would see freelancers and contractors working through personal service companies (PSCs) moved onto the payroll.”

AUTUMN BUDGET 2015
It was announced earlier this mnonth that George Osborne will deliver his first ever wholly Conservative Autumn Statement on 25 November 2015. It is at the Autumn Budget that we hope to gain a stronger insight to the Government plans for travel and subsistence for temporary workers. We will keep you udated with any announced made.
WHAT CONTRACTORS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SUPERVISION, DIRECTION OR CONTROL
‘Supervision, direction or control’ is already used to filter out false self-employment, but the reality of this affecting contractors expenses from April 2016, alongside talks that it could be a way to reform IR35 makes it a topic at the forefront of the contractor sector. But what does this really mean and how do these changes affect contractors?
To fall outside of IR35 a contractor must be able to show that they do not work under supervision, direction or control and are genuinely in business on their own account.

NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE – AS THE NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE INCREASES TO £6.70, SO DOES THE COST OF EMPLOYMENT
From 1st October we have seen the National Minimum Wage for 21 & overs increase from £6.50 to £6.70. When Holiday Pay, Pension Costs, Employer’s NI and of course processing costs are considered, this £6.70 can be considerably higher. CLICK HERE – To find out more

EPAYME YAMAHA – TOMMY HILL ANNOUNCES NEW THM EPAYME YAMAHA TEAM FOR THE 2016 BSB
The tie up between THM and ePayMe follows their relationship from the 2015 season and makes for a highly ambitious partnership, working towards British Superbike success in the coming years for the new THM team.
