ePayMe Contractor Payroll Newsletter – August
RECRUITMENT AGENCIES, have you submitted your Intermediary Reports to HMRC?
On 5 August, legislation required all Employment Intermediaries (Recruitment Agencies) to returned the details of all workers they have placed with clients, where Pay As You Earn (PAYE) is not operated on the workers’ payments. The report (or reports in most cases) are required to be sent to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) once every 3 months, before the required deadline. As a recruitment agency supplying two or more workers to a client outside PAYE, YOU are responsible for sending the required report to HM Revenue & Customs.
